Young People's Budget Hearing

Join us on Monday, August 6th as leaders of the Long Beach Invest in Youth campaign present the Young People's Budget Hearing!

This event features special story-telling performances and interactive art. Bring your friends, family, and community members to learn how we can win a Children & Youth Fund for our city.

Currently, our city spends $170 per youth on positive youth development, but an overwhelming $10,500 per youth arrest. Youth leaders from the Long Beach Invest In Youth Campaign believe our city can do better and that a balanced budget that prioritizes ALL youth is a smart investment.
